Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact forms

When a visitor uses the contact form on our “Contact Us” page, the user’s name, email address, and the message is securely sent to our email inbox. User’s browser, user agent and IP address is also collected to check against spam.

Email newsletter

StopToExplore offers its visitors an opt-in form where they can subscribe for an email newsletter which is sent weekly. Information about new posts at StopToExplore and the latest happenings in the technology world is provided using these newsletters. When a user subscribes, his/her name and email address is securely transferred and stored in our database.

Data collected using email newsletter form is only used for the purpose of sending newsletters.
