OnePlus Bullet wireless Z is the latest available earphone offering from OnePlus. Recently we have shared an in-depth review of the same. In the complete life cycle of the product, they at times give some technical glitch which gets resolved by resetting the setting to the default factory version. We understand that we are able to reset mobile phone or smartwatches by navigating to the respective options. But the question comes, being an earphone how do we reset it? So let’s go through the steps to reset OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z.

OnePlus Bullets Volume Control

The steps to reset are quite easy. You just need to time it properly.

  • Turn on your earphones.
  • Press “Volume Up” & “Volume Down” at the same time for 3-4 seconds.
  • You would hear a beep sound which means the headphone has been reset successfully.
  • This beep sound is different than the sound you hear when connecting or powering on, so you can easily distinguish.

Post reset you need to pair your earphones again and it will function back the same way it used to work earlier. The above procedure can also be used for other OnePlus earphone lineup, as well as works for other Brand’s earphones.     im just purchased my Oneplus bullets wireless z from oneplus store before 8 days… But now…its not working properly when I open up the magnets and turn it on then its off in around 2 seconds and and hear beep sound.. please help me..

      Hi Dinesh,
      Can you try the below steps:
      1. Charge you headphones and try connecting again.
      2. Reset it using the above procedure.
      3. Connect you Bullet earphone to other devices, if it works fine then it would ne an issue with your device. You can try pairing it again and that should fix the issue.

      If the issue still persist then it would be a faulty earphone and you can reach out to OnePlus Care and get it repaired/replaced under warranty.

        Hi, i am not able to pair by one plus wireless z headphone with any mobile.. It was working fine for 15 days then later i couldn’t pair it with my mobile. I cannot reset it too, white light always glows on even it is in off/on when the magnetic buds are joined/not joined. In the amazon website, they gave only 10 days of replacement warranty and didn’t allow to place the review about this product too. Really fed up with this product and brand.

          Hi Arun,

          You can try charging your device completely and then resetting it. Else you need to get it replaced under warranty by OnePlus.

        Hi!
        I tried like 100 times to reset my wireless Z, but it’s not working.
        The problems that I’m having with them that the buttons are non functional. And when I’m on a phone call no one can hear me.
        I tried to connect them to OnePlus 8 pro, 5T and 7T pro, also with macbook air.
        The same problem still on…
        I just want them to work properly as they were before.

          Hi Rami,

          It’s a hardware issue. You need to reach out to the OnePlus service center and get this repaired/replaced under the warranty.

      i have buy a oneplus bullet wireless z yesterday only but my battery goes like 100-
      -80-60-30 and then discharge in just 10 min.Can u tell me the solution

      For some devices, the default call goes via Phone and at times you need to manually switch to Bluetooth. Can you confirm if the Bluetooth option is selected?

    Hello. I have bought the same headset and it hasn’t even been 1 month but the button that indicates the device is on does not turn off even if the magnetic buds are closed. I have tried charging but the colour won’t change to red and the light still remains dim white. The device is not responding at alle.

      Hi Vidya,
      This seems to be a hardware/battery issue. As it’s possible due to the defective battery it’s not getting fully charged as well you see the dimmed lights. You would need to reach out to the OnePlus Care to get this repaired/replaced under the warranty.

    Hi , there is an issue with these wireless one plus z earphones only while connecting the calls. It works for few minutes and then automatically turns off , but nothing of this sort happens incase of YouTube video or songs. What should I do, please help

    I am using One plus bullets from last 1.5 months but from the last 2 days I am facing beeping issue problem means the volume automatically increase and beeping sound continous to sound for 8-10 seconds
